Frequently Asked Questions

How are you different from other functional or integrative practitioners?

As integrative and functional medicine become more popular, their true meaning is often lost. At our clinic, we’re committed to practicing integrative medicine in its most authentic form—combining the science and structure of Western medicine, including evidence-based research, diagnostics, and understanding of disease, with the wisdom and holistic perspective of Eastern healing traditions. If your previous experience with functional medicine felt like symptom management through supplements rather than genuine healing, we aim to offer a more meaningful and results-driven approach. And if you’ve been caught in a cycle of constantly changing protocols or supplements without clarity, our approach is different. We rely on objective testing, clear data, and sound clinical reasoning to guide your care—no guesswork, just purposeful progress.

What type of testing do you offer?

We practice medicine with a strong focus on measurable results. By thoroughly investigating the underlying causes of your health concerns, we’re able to make accurate diagnoses and build treatment plans that are both personalized and rooted in evidence. To support this process, we offer a diverse range of diagnostic testing—from bloodwork and stool analysis to saliva, urine, breath tests, and targeted swabs. These tools provide us with the critical data needed to make clear, informed decisions about your care.Instead of using one-size-fits-all lab panels, we take a tailored approach—ordering only what’s necessary for your case. This allows us to be more precise, reduce unnecessary costs, and ensure proper coding to help you seek reimbursement through your insurance provider.
